Unlike Aamir Khan who underplayed the fact that he was married during Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, his first movie, Imran Khan has no qualms about admiting that he has a steady girlfriend. Methinks, this image will work for him really well, because Imran enjoy the patronage that Shahrukh Khan has achieved as a family man with a loving wife and kids. Well Imran is not right there, at the moment..but he is sure to get adoration from hardcore female fans due to the commitment factor.

Imran Khan had actually escorted is girlfriend Avantika Mallik to the music of launch of Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na on May 20 at Shammi Kapoor's house. Shammi Kapoor, Aamir Khan's favorite actor has worked like a good luck charm to Aamir Khan productions. Aamir had released the music album of Lagaan as well as Taare Zameen Par from Shammi Kapoor's hands.

Imran Khan's mom is Mansoor Khan's sister. Mansoor is Aamir' cousin and the man who actually made Aamir very popular thanks to two of his well directed movies-Qayamat se Qayamat Tak and Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar. Imran Khan's 23 year old girlfriend Avantika is the daughter of TV 18's boss Vandana Mallik. Imran has a good personal life but now the test of his professional life comes to the fore on July 4, 2008 the big day when Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na releases.

Reminiscing back to old times, Aamir Khan tells how he’d use the little Imran Khan to get dates from women. The girls would find Imraan cute and approach Aamir who would comply with a smile.
